14th of March 4.00 PM Hallwylska museet, Hamngatan 4
’Erase the Nation’ directed by Tomasz Grzywaczewski, shows the destruction of Ukraine’s cultural heritage, having been carried out by the Russian Federation’s troops since 24 February 2022. The film shows the deliberate destruction of Ukrainian monuments from Lviv, Chernivtsi, Ivankiv, Kyiv, and Kharkiv to Izium and Bohorodychy in eastern Ukraine. The crimes committed against secular and religious cultural heritage, from archaeological monuments to modern libraries and schools. Testimonies by Ukrainian cultural representatives paint a picture of a deliberate struggle of barbaric invaders against Ukrainian identity, for which Ukrainian heroes are giving their lives. The film made by NID TV was commissioned by the Polish National Institute of Cultural Heritage within the framework of activities of the Support Center for Culture in Ukraine. It was financed from funds from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
The Polish Institute in Stockholm is proudly presenting the Swedish edition of the exhibition “Mom, I don’t want war! 1939-45 Poland/2022 Ukraine”. We are happy that the Embassy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Institute are the official partners of the event. The exhibition was created by the Polish State Archives and the Ukrainian portal ”Mom, I see War” together with the University of Warsaw and Kyiv University. Our version presents a selection of historical drawings of Polish children from 1946, which are a record of their experiences during World War II, and contemporary drawings of Ukrainian children related to the ongoing war in Ukraine. The exhibition will be on display in Kungsträdgården 14 March – 4 April 2023.
After the inauguration in Kungsträdgården, we invite You to Hallwylska museet where we are showing, in collaboration with Nordic Ukraine Forum, a short documentary ‘Erase the Nation’ about the Russian crimes against Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

Jaruzelski: ”Wprowadzono stan wojenny na obszarze całego kraju”
In 1981, the communist authorities proclaimed the Martial Law in Poland to regain control of the society and curb the opposition with a demonstration of power, limitation of civil liberties, and application of force at mid-level commanders’ discretion.
We all know that there is hell in Ukraine now. Not only people suffer, but also animals. Frightened dogs need help and food. Any food. Without human support, they have no chance of survival. The animals will be transported from Ukraine to Poland and placed here in temporary homes and other places that have offered help. We are lucky to have a professional means of transport for the transport of dogs and we can take as many as 30 at a time. We operate as a #traczerteam efficiently, quickly and effectively in a small group of friends, competitors and athletes. We have already had 10 convoys organized and carried out since the beginning of the war. Our trips look like this, that in that direction we carry food on average in 4-7 cars, including several trailers (so far we have already transported over 50 tons, we have evacuated over 200 dogs and several dozen people), bowls, leashes, collars, blankets, lairs, drugs, military equipment … and we’re back with dogs, cats, children and women.
